|
Unlike larger schools, local driving instructors usually can't afford to
spend vast amounts of money on advertising but fortunately advertising plays
only a small part in promoting the successful local driving school.
|
The real weapon in the local ADI's armoury is a good reputation! |
A driving instructor's good (or bad) reputation will rapidly spread throughout the local area.
Customers will be queuing up to take lessons with a driving
instructor that a friend or relative has recommended.
To gain a good reputation the ADI & PDI needs to show their customers that they run
their business in a professional way and that their driving lessons are sharp,
clear and easy to understand.
|
We offer you the following
driving instructor training and driving school products to enhance your business, make life
easier and quickly help build up your reputation in both the
business area and the training area.

Driving Instructor Business Guide

-
those who are
considering becoming a driving instructor (car)
-
those who have begun their training to become a driving
instructor
-
those who have just qualified as an ADI
-
those who have been working for other driving schools and
now wish to set up their own business.
|
The
purpose of the Driving Instructor Business Guide is to
answer the many questions the ADI, PDI or the person who is
just considering becoming a driving instructor may have about the training
involved, the driving school business in general and about setting up their own
driving school.
This guide will help the reader avoid the many pitfalls along the way and it
also
has the potential to save them
thousands of pounds!
Written by industry
insiders - to help you make the right decisions.
The
authors of the Driving Instructor Business Guide are both experienced ADIs who
have been running their own successful driving schools for many years.
You literally cannot afford to ignore this book!
Please note that this
is not just another driving instructor training manual or ADI book. Whilst it does deal
with all the usual aspects of ADI training it also covers
the many business and financial problems that the self-employed ADI
will have to manage.

Driver Graphic Briefings

Driver Graphic Briefings
- L-Driver Graphic Briefings
have been on the market since the year 2000. We have sold many copies of these
books to ADIs and PDIs throughout the UK and they have been extremely
successful. Colin Crane (see below), who has been running his own driving
instructor training school for many years, acknowledges that
L-Driver Graphic Briefings have played a significant part in his high
success rate in the Approved Driving Instructor Part3 Test.

Driver Logbooks

Driver Logbooks
- An extremely
useful product that not only helps the ADI or PDI to keep track of each client's progress and
help ensure
that they don't miss appointments but also contains reference material which
will help the client remember the bullet points of each lesson. The
L-Driver Logbook includes a quick-view
progress chart, the Tell and Show material, pages containing thumbnail sketches
of the driving lessons, pages for end of lesson comments and space to enter
next appointments/dates/times with charts to record mini-tests and mock tests. Your
clients will be happy to accept the L-Driver
Logbook and it will also give your driving school that very important extra edge!

Driving School Pro has a policy of spending as long as is necessary
'field-testing' its products before releasing them to the general market. This
way we can be sure that our customers are getting good value for their money.
Very soon we will be offering the following co-ordinated training resource:
Coming Shortly:
Driver Briefings Handbook
- We all know the limitations of driving instruction! Not enough time,
the car makes a poor classroom, distractions, client's anxiety, and other
factors, make it a less than an ideal situation. L-Driver
Briefings addresses these problems by allowing the client to look at the subject
before the driving lesson, and then thoroughly recap what has taken place
after the driving lesson. Both these events take place in the comfort and
quiet of their own home. The L-Driver Briefings tie in with
Graphic Briefings,
and uses illustrations from Graphic Briefings. This continuity allows the
client to feel relaxed, comfortable and familiar with the material.
L-Driver Briefings cover the same subjects
as Graphic Briefings, but in more depth than the ADI will probably have time to
give during the lesson. L-Driver
Briefings can be sold, loaned, or hired out to your clients.
The L-Driver
Briefings Handbook
will be available in the near future.
